Concrete unit production

The concrete units are produced on heated steel long lines. The compressive strength of the concrete is 24.0 N/mm2 after 24 hours. This is 42.0 N/mm2 after 7 days and 51.3 N/mm2 after 28 days. The concrete units are produced with a 10 x 10 mm chamfered edge on all edges. Hoisting facilities are immediately cast with the product.

The washed outer side is maintenance-free and colourfast because a number of natural materials are used such as natural stone types and, for example, black sand. The mould (line) is treated with a ‘retarder' where the outer side must be washed. After the forms are removed, the slabs are washed mechanically in the automated washing system.
